Abstract Recently, acupuncture has become a common therapeutic procedure for pain control worldwide. Although it has been repeatedly reported that acupuncture is effective and safe, several serious complications were also reported. In this article, we present a case of 68-year-old man who died of massive hematemesis resulting from aortoduodenal fistula (ADF), a rare complication of acupuncture therapy.
